Any possibility you can get a replacement part or have one made?

I just bought this very nice English made used rifle in very good condition, although it has a scope, the see through mounts are perfect for using the iron sights for close range hunting in bush country.

No idea how old it is, the serial number is 28*** nice checkering on stock, has cheek rest, magazine floorplate is engraved with mountain sheep's head with some engraving on trigger guard.

I need a simple protector for the foresight. I do not have any example photographs of a specific Midland type, other than what is generally available on image searches, which are few and far between
