I read in a thread once that there was a way to request a lower shipping rate from brownells. Anyone know anything about that?
Ctcsupplies recently had some but didn't really advertise them and still they sold out in about 24 hrs. Thankfully I managed to get what I needed from them before they ran out.
I've been on the "notify when in stock" list on Brownells for over a month for a couple different gas tubes and haven't heard boo. Presumably if they are getting anything in it's going straight to filling backorders.
I had a WTB up on the EE for a few weeks (as did some others), but no nibbles.

Ordered a midlength tube from Brownells last night. It said it was in stock. I guess we'll see if it actually comes.
Shows how well their "email when in stock" system is working then!!
Yeah, site shows mid length DPMS tubes in stock.
If it said it was in stock, you'll get it. They are a bit slow these days so it might take up to a week to ship, but you'll get it.

I usually avoid anything NEA but I was desperate and I bought one of the NEA tubes you guys are selling. It had spiral metal shavings inside it left there from when the gas port hole was drilled. It never even made it on to the build and I figured it was too small an item to go through the hassel of returning all the way to Calgary. I ended up sourcing a few from CTCS and Brownells a month or so later.
