Midnight shoot.........Photos up

Of course I am alive! Too stubborn to die yet! Funny, I was up north for a month and didn't see you Ben, I thought you lived up there!

That Ruger and Win are sure purty rifles, I take it the Hornet is going on vacation?

No, can't really do that as it was a gift from #1 son. I'm going to do some work on it though, it needs to be properly bedded as it doesn't sit right in the stock, then I'll throw some accraglass at it and maybe some fore end pressure and lastly, if need be, I'll try rebarrelling it.........talk about stubborn!!! Actually it's a sweet little action and the trigger is truly exceptional.............so we'll see what happens.

Man, I used to love it up there at Fox lake...2:30 in the morning...fishing like it was dusk, a week after the solstice.

Makes me a little homesick for my little place back in Riverdale right about now.

However, come January, I'll be over it! :D :p

Have to think about this one. My thinking says maybe being in Bonnyville in January, I might be wishing to get back to Whitehorse area.
I know, less daylight up there, but the temperature----hmmmm, maybe Bonnyville is colder!

I finally understand why this forum has a rank "I have no life"

man oh man...

What you value as "a life" is certainly not a measure of others.

For some, (myself included) this sounds like it would be a perfect way to spend a holiday night.
The chance to shoot from 7 to midnight while still in natural light would be something to remember.
