Might have got burned on GunBroker

This will be the first fraudulent transaction that I fell a victim of at the auction sites like eBay, Gunsamerica, Gunbroker etc.
I bought an antique revolver down in the States, paid for it with a postal MO, had an exchange of emails up to the moment when the seller said he received the money and was going to ship out the gun. Since then his email account went down, his phone number in the profile is a disconnected pager # and no gun.
I filed a fraud form with Gunbroker to get the refund minus deductible and once the process is complete, will fax the local police office to get him charged with mail fraud.
It is possible that he changed his mind after the auction ended at very low price for this condition gun, but why taking the money and running?
It is unlikely that all this is just a sad error on his side. Anyway, this is just a warning that even in the gun crowd there are bad apples. I will post his name if the end result is that he burnt me.

Did he have feedback on the Gun broker site as a seller?

I wont bid on a gun with a guy with 0 feedback in the US its way to risky.

Well if you remember his Name on GB post it Here tho if hes a scammer he wont come back on GB under the same name.
If you have access to his Feedback still Email all his Buyers and see if they know the guy.
Its very odd that someone with 7 feedbacks all positive would do this But it depends on what the other 7 feedbacks were for. Like $10 items or firearms.
