I am not and refuse to become a facetuber. Who do I contact to register and pay for these events? I am in PG so am very interested.

That all depends. Grande Prairie is the only club that uses Practiscore to register. Normally, other than the GP 2 day match and the Team Match in Peace River, no one requires pre-registration or pre-payment. Just show up, pay, and shoot.

I'll be showing up to watch at the Tumbler Ridge event, quite happy to have my range shut down for the day to host this type of thing. In fact, maybe I need to get off my butt and buy a shotgun again to go with my AR that is in the mail and start shooting my M&P40 a bit more......

How many competitors usually show for these events, and are there different levels/classes?

Not having gear shouldn't hold you back. You'll have more offers to use other folks stuff than you'll know what to do with.

Attendance varies from 25-40 at the single day events. It really depends on work schedules.

There are different divisions based on equipment, but no "novice", "expert", "try-hard" classes.

You should come out to the FSJ match tomorrow if you can. Bring your guns. I guarantee you a great time with a very supportive and welcoming group of shooters. :)
