Migratory Bird Hunters - the Environment Canada Electronic Permit site is open

I just bought and printed out my 2016/17 migratory bird license. It was quick and painless. The cost with taxes included is $19.21. They will mail you the stamp at no charge if you want it. It is not required for you to affix the stamp on the your printed license.

That is helpful. I always get to the PO well in advance, but can't tell you the number of times various friends decided to come along, but decided too late, after the post office was closed.

It is good to get all the permits early and put them in your hunting kit.
