The cost of licenses doesn’t bother me. I like to collect them anyways so I’ll still buy them in person.
I don't mind the modest increase either in this case. What I don't like is usually having to travel to 3-4 Shopper Drug Marts to find a store that has them.
You guys know you can buy the licence online, print it off, and still request the stamp to be sent to you in the mail right?
Of all of the hunting licenses/tags I buy, the migratory bird one is by far the cheapest not to mention the most value....wild turkey = $32 per turkey, deer/bear = $52 per. I can harvest a lot of geese and ducks for my $18 stamp which makes it a veritable bargain!

I had no idea that the stamp could be bought online, I'll do that from now on.
Our tags are expensive here, you can easily spend about $300.00 buying deer, moose, bear, turkey, small game, for the season. These I do buy online. And then there is no guarantee that you will get chosen for the draws on deer & moose.
I'll start buying the stamp online, since the biggest problem in my area is finding a store that has them in stock.
What sort of fee is there to enter the draws? In BC its $8 per draw entry, can only enter one draw per species.

There is no fee, you have to buy the licence and then wait, hoping that you get drawn for a tag. Most times you never get one.
A lot of hunters here have stopped because of the system we have, because if you don't get drawn you can't harvest an adult moose, or a doe if deer hunting. Its been years since Ive had a adult moose tag. I,m considering going somewhere warm for a week rather than walking in the bush not being able to shoot anything.
