Mil-Dot scope on a 22LR..... is it of any use/advantage?

buy a tasco target/varmint they can be had new in box for under 100 bucks.
i have a 2.5-10x42 ao on my 10/22 and i love it!

I've got the 6-24 Tasco on my Remington VTR in .308 while the bushnell is off getting serviced. Granted it cost me more than $100.

If you are that broke then pick up a NcStar mildot, they can be had for about $60 shipped and although some people have had problems, Ive yet to come across a lemon. In fact I gave my last one away to a friend who's rimfire scope broke just before hunting season.

Im all for it... Bushnell 3200 Tactical is my go to scope for my .22s.. Cant get enough sunshade either.. haha

Sadly for me since I need something with magnification my options are all a little pricey...

Elite 4200 6-24x40 Mil-dot = $622 plus taxes and shipping
Elite 3200 7-21x40 Mil-dot = $496 plus taxes and shipping
Falcon Menace 5.5-24x50 Mil-dot = $545 plus taxes and shipping

:(

Thus I picked up a BNIB Bushnell Banner 6-24x40 Mil-dot for $120 shipped which sadly had to be sent to bushnell for repair....

Sunshades are VERY useful and sadly there is no such thing as a sunshade for my Banner.
