Hey all,

In 2014 I purchased one of the Afganistan MIL/LE surplus DPMS AR-15s brought in by IRUNGUNS. Carried by PMC (possibly Ugandan) guarding US facilities. Flat top w carry handle, still has the rack marks on the stock and some dust. It was a duty gun, it's got the rub marks and scuffs to prove it. I've got someone interested in purchasing it, not to shoot it, but because it's a neat collectable. What does CGN think a fair value is?

To be honest... $600-$700 at most and you will probably be sitting on it for awhile until the right buyer comes around.

the gun itself isn't worth much, the provenance is cool but unless you could prove it was involved in something cool besides guarding a gate or a tool shed its really only worth what the guy feels its worth, if owning something that was present during the war matters that much to him then the sky is the limit, if not, $6-750

Ha! I bought one of these years back off the EE from a guy that had buyers remorse.
I didn't own it long. But I will say it was one of the most accurate AR15s I've shot.
Very solid gun all around. I liked the beat to #### externals. The gun itself was near mint internally.
I wouldn't pay more than 600 for it though. I don't think its anything special or really all that collectible. It's an lower middle grade commercial ar15 carbine with stink dust on it carried by a canon fodder African security guard overseas.

Ugandan guard !Were they the ones that were sleeping when Camp Bastion got attacked. Nope my mistake they were Tongan

No offense, but that's hardly a stellar provenance (even if proven).

It's not exactly a gun that participated in storming the Reichstag...
