I'm looking for a decent Mil reticle FFP spotting scope. I'm aware of US Optics, Leupold and Bushnell not sure if Vortex still makes one. Price point sub $2000CAD. Anyone have suggestions on what is out there now?

Add a Mil reticle to a spotting scope and you add the "tactical" surcharge. Sub $2K feels like a real stretch. LR glass is something that you should just nut up and spend the money on. You won't regret buying quality.

I'd say your 3 only options that I know of are the Bushnell Legend Tactical 15-45 which can be had for $600ish Cad but probably needs to be ordered in, the Bushnell Elite Tactical LMSS 8-40 that goes for about $1600 USD (although I found one on Amazon.ca for $1770 CAD) and the Leupold Mk IV 12-40 that goes for about $1500-1700 USD. I've used all 3 and the more expensive ones definitely have better glass but the Legend is decent and totally usable. I don't think Vortex makes a spotter with a reticle at this point, other than a couple hand held monoculars (that are 15x iirc). From there on up, I believe the sky is the limit. I looked through a real nice Swaro with an illuminated reticle at a match but haven't bothered to price check it as the RO said it was about a $4k optic, haha.

The Legend T is actually pretty decent for the money. Not quite as good of glass as our various Razor spotters, but definitely not bad considering the price point.
