That I shamelessly borrowed from the internet!

Negev - we need to have a semi of this.

TAVOR
Note that the sniper version apparently has a different piston part without the backup sight sticking out - so there can be more space for rail.

Micro TAVOR
Anymore news on the updated Mepro sight?

Norincrap
Looks like these guys are really hungry for $$$$ - looks like they really want to pump out those 5.56 as long as people gonna buy them

At least the fire control is at the right spot, unlike the type 97

I dont know why the world needs a bullpup SMG to shoot 9mm

That kinda reminds me of something KAC made before...

Hahhah,
You know what. I hate to say it but I kind of like the Type 97. I'd like the sniper version better. But if it was the right price I'd probably go for one. Yes it's Norinco which I usually stay far away from.

Scarecrow,
I could get one from Lever today if I really wanted one. They are here, just not at an acceptable price point for what it is. Also too many compromises for my uses. If it was cheap enough I'd buy one for plinking. I'd still choose the sniper version first though.

I suspect we'll see more of them in a while. The poor man's Tavor does have appeal, and since Aug's etc are prohibited there aren't a lot of options.

Go Figure .... Norinco keeps on making'em ... the 97 (or NPPR as described) would be Ok in the under 1K range.

The other rifles look like SKS rifles in drag ...

The type 81 is more of a SKS than an AK.

In the Sino/Vietnamese war back in '79, the type 81 got its day in the sun. It was found that the VZ-58 was better, but, the type 81 was "ok" for its intended use. The standards of the 81 were to just be like... 2.5-3 MOA @ 100meters.....decent.

Which brings me back to the relationship of the 81 and the SKS.
The Chinese had mountains of the SKS laying around everywhere, so they figured they would recycle, reduce, and reuse.

If the belt is designed

I thought belts were not restricted to 5 rounds Strangie

after 1945 it is....so yes your 1919 can have a 250 round belt of ammo in the cloth belts, but if you use the metallic links in your 1919 it's supposed to be 5 rounds:(

The regs on these are pretty murky, just lots of asholes....I mean opinions on it.
