Original or Reproduction. Large ring, small ring, or intermediate ring Military Mausers in marksman configuration. German, Czech, Swedish... etc. Heck, even Springfields or P14/M17s are acceptable.

Let's see them!

Here is what I brought.

Yugoslavian refurbished K98 wearing Zrak mounts and an ON-M76 marksman scope. Replica of the infamous "tandzara" field expedient sniper rifles from the Bosnian civil war. I have always found these rifles interesting... and it's the closest thing to a Zastava M76 that I will ever get my hands on.

By far my favorite rifle to shoot. The action is incredibly slick (unmodified) and it shoots under 1' groups with factory ammo when I take my time (the trigger is also unmodified). I will post proof some day.

Cool sniper BM!

Unfortunately I have nothing to add to this thread. My dream sniper is a matching original byf in ZF-41 trim. Probably never gonna happen.

My holy grail Mauser sniper is an original J.P. Sauer & Son (ce) LSR. And again, never going to happen. :(

A desporterized repo will have to do.

Currently in the process of building a German/Israeli K98 into a sniper clone with a CP Goerz pre WWII variable scope. Hope to have it done within the next few months.

Nice rifle!!!

I have a similar set up with a Yugo M48BO on Zrak Mounts with an ON-M76 scope. Im not sure how well she shoots, but i think I just need more range time with her :D.

ok...well, you did say Springfields allowed...and repro's.....here's my JRA 1903A4 reproduction.

Yup...she's pretty much brand new, I know it...so the purists can save the sneers....and move on  At least it's a cool looking brand new rifle ;)

Vermin, I don't mind reproductions at all. At least you aren't shooting a bunch of value away every time you pull the trigger at the range with it. I saw one of those a few weeks ago and it looked great. The owner hadn't shot it yet. It may have been a Christmas present from his son.

Have you wrung the wrinkles out of yours yet???

Riflechair, nice No4T, is that a repro scope/mount?

I haven't shot this one yet. She'll be out early this spring.

I'm pretty new to firearms in general, never mind milsurps. Last year I spent most of my time with my No.1 Mk3, M1 and SKS just getting used to iron sights and shooting rifles in general. I've never shot with a scope before so I have some more reading to do so I can get it properly sighted in and at least have a general idea of what I'm doing lol

Regardless...I know I will be having fun !
