Military Museums in Montreal

Have a chum from the US going to Montreal for a few days and wanted to give him some names of museums he should hit. His is an advanced military collector, so anything with more than just a Lee Enfield and a Mauser would be nice.

the long pointe garrison in the east end on notre dame east has a museum.i've never been in but several tanks/planes/artillery are outside.
the entrance is (i believe) on hochelaga street.there's a timmy's(no doubt) across the street...

- Stewart Museum had the best collection, but closed for renovation untill Spring 2010.

- Local Militia Regimental Museums probably closed for the Summer also.
