Does anyone have a military slave cable they want to sell? I'm looking for the NATO round end one, not the two pin one.

I believe he means a NATO vehicle to vehicle jumper cable, the type with a connector for ports on the vehicle. Nice job : by being so brief in description only those "in the know" would know, cutting out those that could not have one because they don't know what it is.

If I had one...

Yes one of these :)

It's basically a specialized jumper cable for 24 volt military vehicles.

First thought: Cable for slave?!

No.

In the motive power trades (and apparently the military), anything referred to as a "slave" does a job only under the "command" of the "master". Without knowing military vehicles, I would suspect there to be a "master" switch on board the vehicles to energize the "slave cables".
Another example would be hydraulics. A slave cylinder moves a metered amount determined by the amount of hydraulic fluid sent to it from a "master" cylinder.

There are such things as "King" pins which are more important crucial than others on equipment, these names allude to the parts importance or place in the chain of command logistically speaking in order for the equipment to perform it's tasks.

Anyone else have other examples? I'm certain I do as well, but I'm suffering from a brain lock.
