Military Standards for visual inspection of small arms ammunition

Military munitions have manufacture lot numbers just as civilian munitions have. Military munitions require inspections at certain intervals in their life cycle based on manufacture date Lot No, Any munition which fails an inspection is then quarantined for disposal. All military munition storage facilities undergo unit monthly inspections, unit quarterly inspections by /base explosives safety officer and unit and base yearly inspections by munitions depot personnel.
