Those that know me know I tend to be "turret challenged" to a degree but I'm pretty sure I'm not the crazy one in this case.
Using the DMS-1's 1/4 " turrets, at 100 meters 4 inches of elevation adjustment in 1/4 increments would equal 16 clicks...right?
Or am I crazy?
Here's what is says in the Millet manual for the DMS-1:

"This is how much you will need to move your scope to align the crosshairs.
Let’s say the group was 4 inches to the right and 5 inches high. Since the
adjustment clicks on the DMS-1 scopes are 1/4” or 6 mm at 100, and 1/8” at 50
yards, you will need to move the scope adjustments 32 clicks to the left and 40
down. One full turn of the turret is 72 clicks or 9 inches at 100 yards."

Now sometimes the simplest math eludes me, but this is making me nutty.
Am I wrong, or the manual?
Also, the turret itself travels 6 clicks between "0" to "1/4" (?) whereas the older model had 4 clicks between each post (which makes sense).

So help me out here: am I crazy or is it them?!!

Sounds like maybe they got the math wrong. On my Millet DMS-1 my adjustments are in 1/2" clicks like it says on the Millet site.

The paragraph is poorly worded. The number of clicks they give is correct if the group is shot at 50 yards.

Redryder, you are absolutely correct, my turrets are 60 grads of 1/2 moa.
I did say that I was turret challenged.
Regardless, the math still confuses me!
And the manual has the incorrect numbers, or I should say, it hasn't been updated.
I'm including a pic of my turret, and a pic of an older DMS-1 turret.
First the older one:

Could someone take mercy upon me and explain the graduations on this one to me?
If every click is 1/2" at 100 meters/yards then why counting by two's does the turret read 12 when I'm counting 6?!
I feel like I have to just ignore the numbers and go with the clicks!
God, I'm lame at this....lol...

the turrets are numbered in clicks. no big deal. learn it and adjust to it. adapt.
