Millet rings

hey guys,

Just bought a set of millet rings from the EE. Seemed like a really good price. Anyways, are the millet tactical rings any Good? I'm mounting them on a bushnell 6500 223 savage. Little recoil so I figure why not. Anyone here with first hand experience with Millet? Thanks

The millet angle locks are often referred to as "mangle locks" for good reason.

I dislike the angle lock but the millet tactical are not too bad actually.

I had millet angle locks for 3/8" bought new from LGS. Supplied wrench twisted trying to open them, there was a burr from the casting proud enough to scratch bottom I my scope. I have stronger wrenches and was able to remove the burr. Scope is still scratched. Told owner of LGS, he made it right and then some. They don't open new packages to check all products. No QA/QC.
Haven't tried the tactical. Good luck.

Millet rings are the only scope rings I have ever returned for a refund at the gun shop I bought them at.

Haha. Thanks guys. Hopefully they aren't too bad. I'm gonna Lapp them for sure. A buddy of mine has had really good luck with them. Not sure if he has the tactical ones though
