Hi Guys,

I purchased a Millett Tactical Scope at the beginning of this year. However, after a few months, I found out that the scope was defective & returned it back to the gun store for repair, who in turn sent it back to Bushnell for waranty repair. That was in the middle of May. To date, I haven't heard a reply. I keep calling the gun store & they tell me they haven't received a reply back.
I tried calling Bshnell myself in Richmond Hill, Ontario & spoke with a lab technician, who told me that without a work order reference number, he won't be able to answer my inquiry. When I asked the gun store if they have a repair order #, they told me they haven't received one yet.
Since I have never returned a scope for repair before, I am puzzled if this is the norm for a scope to take upto 3 months or more to get a reply?

I would appreciate a reply from anyone who has had a similar experience, or how to go about this.

Cheers,

6 months for a repair from Bushnell isn't unusual. There's a good chance they'll offer you one of their low end scopes rather than a repair.
Good luck; you'll probably need it.:(

I just mailed my LRS-1 back to bushnell in July and I have yet to hear anything from them. I did phone them and they said that they were quite busy...
