Maybe this is old news, but I found a good online instruction manual for milling you own lowers from 0% forgings. Looked like the thing a hobby machinest would like to know about. All files are PDF, and downloadable.

Dig around and you can find the AR lower built from IKEA cutting boards.

Now THAT is a pretty neat rig. Choose a colour!
