Am I crazy, do you figure the action would take being milled out for the bigger LAR mags?

Just to point out, the thing is rear locking lug, so the middle section has different forces applied to it than something like a rem 700.

I'm quite fine with the thing if it doesn't come together properly or functionally, just don't like the idea of it blowing up; or moddifying it, shooting it for a while, selling it and having someone else injured.

I did see on the EE someone modded a 788 to fit larger LAR mag's, also rear lugs.

Whats your thoughts? can the action take having material removed for larger mags or is this a bad idea?

The Mossberg bolt action that uses AR mags had to be designed with a unique bolt to allow for reliable feeding..... probably a waste of time trying to get an AR mag into your JW 105.
Just buy a few more magazines if you need to increase your rate of fire.

Hmm, I'll have a look at it. You would be right about it being a waste of time, it's more of a "can I do it?" than a "need to do it" scenario, without any benefit to change in value.
