Milling taper pin cuts on ar-15 barrel

That's not actually possible to do. The holes for taper pins are cut after the front sight has been installed. You need to install the front sight onto the barrel, secure it, drill the holes through both the front sight AND the barrel, and then install the taper pins themselves. This is why the vast majority of aftermarket front sight blocks are secured either by a split clamp or a set screw.

I see Allen gun works offers a fsb install go 70.00, but ill have to buy a new fsb like you said
 
Now the question is where do I get a f style fsb? Wolverine carries a DD but are out of stock... Ill have to do some more searching but if anyone knows off hand please chime in... Thx
