Milspec 5.56 ammo in Canada?

i will check the label the next chance i get, off the top of my head the label is marked "sS" amoung other things. packed 100 rounds to a box.

i have been saving the cases, it is either boxer primed or berdan with one flash hole (i have heard of this but never seen it).

Yes, SS is the German marking for 7.92mm, I forget which bullet weight. I suppose you could use one offset flash hole with a Berdan primer, but I have yet to see it done. It may have been done during the war to lower tooling/production costs.

the label is definately not in german. i thought it strange that the spanish would use the german sS designation (198 grain?) on their ammo.
