milsurp alert!! - check this out!

Production year and factory logo (receiver and barrel) were stamped after connection of the barrel with receiver, serial number - after rifle was completely assembled

Just got my 2. Both are perfect. Bores are pristine.

A 3Б. All matching.

And a BB. The magazine baseplate was restamped to match (seems like the original font). The bolt does not have the BB prefix but does have the same 4 digit numbers. Buttplate matches.

This is the first not original matching one reported. Good thing you got two.

I can't see the mixmasters holding much value but we'll see.

Hahahah wow.... even the bottom 1943r looks double stamped haha so it's a triple dated rifle haha
The Soviet crest is double stamped, so is the Izhevsk triangle...

Vodka does wonders. ;)

The incredible thing is that the original stampings appear to be clean and deeply struck, gives you an idea of the enormous pressure the workers were under.

Here you go, all the other ones are matching as well. I'll have a chance to take some better photos tomorrow. Also, do the 8's appear to be upside down?

That looks more like a not fully stamped backwards N than a V?

Are you going to post this one on Reddit like me and the other guy did?

Yeah once I get some more photos together I'll throw a post up. I think you're right about about the backwards N, I'll have to check the others to see if they look similar

Well, mine showed up today at the post office. Just took a quick peak at it and I'm in the 3E club as well.

I'll try to take some pictures tomorrow and get them posted. Very cool piece of history!

Damn what the hell did i just miss

You missed a big panic buying spree for a few hundred ultra-rare Mosins, and the chance to make a few thousand dollars flipping it in a few months.

How did you come up with that figure? Good luck ;)

I'm not going to be selling, but wait for it. There are under 50 in Canada and LOTS of mosin collectors. Supply and demand, I think my prediction isn't far off.

I'm surprised Tradex didn't list them higher, they sold out in under 24 hours at $900 plus tax - though I'm glad they didn't.
