I never understood the serial number obscuring thing. I can't tell if your bolt is re-numbered, or if there was just a partially machining flaw that looks a little like a cancellation line. You've obscured the part of the serial number that would tell us either way.

I'm just used to blanking out SN when posting online, but for this rifle I guess there is no real reason to keep it a secret so I will get another photo posted. By the way is it ok to post the links to images? I can't seem to figure out how to get the pictures displayed with the post.

As for '49 SKS, $450 gets you a BBQ painted mostly non original gun. $650 gets you a a nice blued mostly correct parts, over $1K easy for an unmolested example.
Quality is everything. Except to those who believe Coors Light is beer.
Ahhahaha! Yep, Coors claim to fame, is that it is cold!!! Your fridge does that! I snoozed and loosed on these Mosin, now I need to get up a bit earlier every morning just so I have time to kick my self in the AR$€!

It looks like the ones for sale on the EE are gone. Only two up there looking for trades. Make them an offer and maybe they'll take it.

Here is the unblocked bolt SN. When viewed up close I can not see any previous marks that may have been ground off so i suspect the line was a rough machining mark.

You need to add ".JPG" on the end of that address, and then paste the whole link with the .JPG extension included into the pop up field when you click the picture icon here on the site in your post.
