It has been my experience that with every milsurp purchase that my ##### gets bigger. Surely I'm not alone? Starting to become fairly well endowed now...

Oh, let me guess....it's not how big it is but rather what you do with it?
Here is an earlier acquisition....because size really does matter.
(In case you can't see it behind my dewat vickers, it's a Cdn Bofors 40mm.)

Interesting thoughts, but instead of looking for a bigger rifle, perhaps results could be better with a smaller chamber?

Getting it to grow is easy, keeping it from falling off is not. See any thread on a m14 clone for details.

The quonset is actually surplus as well...I bought it from the base after the Germans left, disassembled it into 4 pieces and towed it home myself. They practically give away buildings when they do sell them.

The total building size is actually something like 70ft long by 51 wide. I have walled off the back third for my workshop and heated that portion for the Manitoba winters.
