Was going thru my junk and brass stash and came across a old scope i forgot i had that once sat on a old enfield sporter i used to own.It`s 14 inchs long and has no adjustment knobs a fine set of cross hairs with mil marks on each side a R on the right side and a L on the right the marking on the body is telescope sighting.no22c.mkII R.E.L canada 1942 ^11731-c. Can any tell me what this was used on ? The person i asked said it was a ground site on a bofors gun . It`s a shame someone painted it black because under the front sun shade is the green parkerizing that was original. Any info would be appreciated.
