Hi,

Can any one tell me when and where the monthly milsurp shows are in Burnaby BC? I've heard they are in Burnaby, I could be wrong....

thanks

Then is there another show that is more Milsurp focused in the lower mainland? I thought there was a monthly show in Chiliwak?

Not to my knowledge, but HACS puts on a kickass 2 day show in Chilliwack every May. Lots of people from all over the province attend, I always find something nice there:cool:

I went this morning and picked up a #4 mk1. No bolt or mag for the princely some of $15.00. I was looking at it as it was sported but full barrel length. It was tagged as $50. and the bore was filthy. The seller says "How about $15?" Jeezus yes. I have no idea why he dumped it at 830 in the morning. The bore is great and even the front sight guard is worth more than $15.

I was sorely tempted by a full wood Cooey 82 with peep sight. Only thing is, I can't see a blasted thing through it.

I was surprised by the complete and utter lack of full wood Canadian milsurps aside from the Cooey 82 and a Ross trainer. Come to think of it, almost no US milsurps at all except for the one non-rest M1 carbine

Been at the HACS today as well and picked up a Norc M305 shorty that had no sling or mags but was cleaned of all cosmolene(sp?). The only issue was the gas assembly. Easy fix. Paid $200.00

Ha, saw that Cooey as well... yes very tempting. Could only assume the C-arrow stamp was under the LGR sticker though... One of the other sellers there said that guy sells guns made out of cobbled together parts (which might be true from the Cooeys I've seen him selling in the past), so who knows without pulling off that sticker...

If you wanted to see US milsurp there was that guy in the back with the Spencer Carbine. :D
I was too afraid to ask what he wanted for it. Anyone?

I slept in so I missed out, ended up snagging a 91/30 mosin nagant rifle off the EE instead.....oh well day wasn't wasted I still got something good out of it. :)
