Allright guys, let's keep this going. There have gotta be more strange things hiding in the woodwork.
All I can contribute right now is:
Remington .44 revolver, Model of 1858/1868 conversion to cartridge, came to Canada with the Sioux, likely liberated from the 7th U.S. Cavalry (Horse-mobile).
I have also had an 1873 Colt which DEFINITELY came out of the Little Big Horn fight and a Springfield Cavalry Carbine the same..... but my brother ended up with both of those.
Nothing strange recently.....
