Well I sure would like to collect some handed down info on this subject.
I lost my grandma's years ago. It was so much fun to put all these ingrediants together. I will try and list some..And I use to make a large batch and freeze it, then tarts, pies, the kids loved it like candy. What a great food to have on the trail.
Deer(fine) ground
Oranges, peels and all cut up fine
Lime same same
Apples same (tart)
raisons
currents
pork suit
Cinnamon
nutmeg
And some stuff I missed for sure, brew for 4 to 5 hours
What a nice smell in the house. So dust of those old notes.
Oh shoot, pie crust , if you got one
