Apparently they reduce barrel vibration in the heavy barreled Mini 14's however to a much lesser extent than in the skinny barrels. It is in the description of the accustrut on the site.

You dont need them on the heavy barrel Target models, but the others do benefit.

We use the Trueshot stabilizers now, they have better clamp contact & are better & cheaper. We just got an order in stock, HERE
We also have mini 14 30/5 mags in stock, Mini 14 dual 100/5 drums, Mini 30 steel 30/5 mags, Mini quad rails & lots more......
