Question:What are your favorite magazines to use for this rifle and what ones have you had the best luck/experience with ? Is it just best to hunt for the factory Ruger Mags ?

After searching all the stores around my area for the last year I finally picked up a stainless/synthetic black stock mini 14 about 2 months ago and love the thing.... My only complaint is the fact that it's forever and always pinned to five rounds. I only have two factory five round mags and have been searching for some pinned 20/30 round mags for it since they look better and functionally easier to use.

With the factory Ruger mags hard to find and expansive as s**t; I've started looking at alternatives and thought to try and get a few more hands on opinions here. I've watched a couple videos online now and the one I am leaning toward is the Gen 2 Tapco Mags after watching the Nutnfancy review on them; however I've had a few people tell me they have never had a lot of luck with Tapco products, just not this one in particular. I've also heard the Pro Mag's were pretty good too but after watching NutnFancy's review I don't really know not.

Try Irunguns, they bring in 20's + 30's pinned to 5 - original Ruger mags are the best way to go.

Not in stock right now, but the best price going for the real thing.

I'd only try ruger or tapco magazines based on research.
It'll be the only tapco plastic fantastic piece of kit I'd allow.

They have been out of stock the last few weeks I've checked; with the current exchange rate they are also like 65 bucks each.

Also keep in mind that tapco mags cannot be disassembled without damaging the mag. They did it on purpose to stop us from hurting ourselves with proper capacity magazines... If you can find ruger mags for a decent price buy them. They are quality product.

Thanks for the input; I already swaying to the side of the factory mags, just sorta impatient and wanted some larger mags. I'll be keeping an eye for out for Ruger Mags.
