Hi, I saw on your site that you sell Mini 14 20 round magazines. I was told that any mini 14 mag above 5 rounds is prohibited.

Either way, is this true, and do you sell them in .223?

Not specifically Mini 14 mags, but semi auto centre fire rifle mags... I believe Marstar will sell full-capacity mags to licensed organizations IE military/law enforcement, but as an individual civilian, yes they will be blocked to five rounds when you receive them.

Marstar is licensed in all prohibited categories.

That doesn't mean that they can sell these things to us.

Well obviously I'm looking for pinned mags. I spoke to the boys at Wanstalls and was told all mags larger then 5 rounds were prohib, just looking clarification that we can't actually get 5/20 mags or the like

Sure you can get pinned mags. I've gotten a few aftermarket 5/30 mags for my Mini-14, though I've also seen Ruger factory 20 and 30 rounders pinned to 5 from time to time. You've just got to keep an eye out for them, though they're not cheap.

That sounds like they are pointing to the wrong direction...
assume all AR-15 mags were once 20rds or 30rds.l..
I have rarely see any AR-15 mags that are manufactured 5rds.

And all CZ 858s out there came with 4 x 30rds mags pinned to 5.
 
Yeah, I know there's pinned mags. Want to get my hands on a couple for when I start adding furniture. Think I might look for some OEM Ruger 20rnd ones though. Read somewhere the aftermarket 20s and 30s have feeding issues
