Mini 14 stainless factory folder

What would a Mini 14 stainless factory folder be worth in great condition.
Might have one from a older gentleman that is getting out of the sport.

$900-1200 in great shape.

Make sure the folder has the sling mount on the side of the gas block not the bottom!

Yes but Ruger hasn't manufactured their factory folding stock since 1989, increasing their value as collectables. As was mentioned above the sling mount is on the left side of the gas block if the rifle left the factory wearing a folder (although some of the GB folder models had a bottom mount).

I think some of the confusion in the above stems from not knowing for sure if we are talking about a complete rifle or the stock alone.

Even so, factory folders are rare enough that there's always demand for Minis with them attached. The buyer just won't be able to brag that the gun came in that configuration from the factory, once they buy it.

I see that it is SPF. The stock is a Ramline copy (not a Ruger) and the front sling swivel is at the bottom. It is still a very nice mini though.

I would like to get the dimensions and make one. You could probably make one for less than 100. I know the collector value wouldn't be there but really I consider the mini more of a working mans gun than a safe queen. I love my mini 14 and love to shoot it and not afraid to get it a couple scrapes on it. I think that would make a great project. I remember I requested on EE for one and was floored when people wanted 400 dollars for an old stock, but like you said they are rare
