Mini-14 Stripper Clips?

John,
There are no guides on the Mini reciever so the answer is no.........now I am sure a guy could charge the mags with stripper clips using an AR charger guide but that would only speed up mag loading out of the gun

not necessairly- it depends on the mag as well as the charger guide- i have both a us style and a cf charger guide and the cf would work with anyone's mag, provided you can fit it on the mag( it has guides both ends - the us, however, has to have indents in the mag for it to fit into and guides only the head- it's a scaled down version of the m14 stripper guide- but it seems kind of stupid , considering most( unless you have access to cf "stuff") stripper clips are 10 rounds and we're limited to 5- you can't cut the metal ones in half very well, and those stupid little tabs on the end will break sooner or later- i've got a barraks box full of them- the cf, ones, on the other hand are plastic and no problem to cut in half

striper clips

:)i just use a cf mag charger and cut a noch out of the rear. to make it fit the mini 14 mags and load with any full lenth stripers they stop at five rounds then use the remainig five in the next mag. it works for me

I think John was looking to charge the mags while in the gun ......as I posted above this is not going to happen..........charging the mags out of the gun is another story.
