Mini-14 Target

I still find it hilarious, all these people that bash Mini-14's. I've never had any accuracy issues at all on all 7 I've used. From an old OPP rifle to a new ranch rifle.

All came in 3-6 inch groupings at 100yards.

Really makes me wonder where all this "cant hit the side of a barn" crap is coming from. I shoot them wonderfully, whats wrong with everyone else?

This new Mini-14 Target looks like a blast and I'll have to get my hands on it.

3-6" groups at 100y would not be my definition of accurate, or even close to it.:runaway::runaway::runaway:

I've had a few mini-14's and one mini-30. All were junk. The mini-30 actually shot worse than an SKS I was using at the time.

Mine either. I eventually found a load that would get my Mini around the 6" neighbourhood. Most often it was 8".

A Mini 14 Target sounds like a contradiction in terms more so if it keeps that crappy Mini 14 trigger.

The second most happy day in a Mini 14 owners life is when he gets his rifle.

The first most happy day is when he sells it.:dancingbanana:

I don't understand this at all. I picked up a Mini-14 last summer, fitted it with a Houge Overmolded stock and went off to the range. Properly slung up, prone and shot a 2" group all day long. What exackly do you guys want out of light barrelled carbine. Yes all of my AR's will out group my Mini even the Chinese AR shoots tighter groups but 2 minutes of angle is fine, for what it is!

I once owned a Mini 14, personally, I was not happy with the accuracy.
A friend went with me to shoot at the outdoor rifle range near Bragg Creek.
His wife who had never ever shot a high powered rifle before, proceeded to outshoot me at 100 yards with an iron sighted 303 Lee Enfield.
This was a fairly large target as well.

I sold that Mini 14 a week later.........

May the Almighty bless the inexpensive to buy and reliably feed Chicom SKS!
I was going to buy a Mini-30 and then heard of what the Mini-14 is like so, I put all that cash (and a bit extra) towards a couple of M14S's and a coupls of SKS's.
