Mini 14 with the ATI stock

i ordered mine from rimfiresports.com

they are out of stock atm, but will ship to canada.
its a good stock btw - but only when stripped of all the optional crap. you dont need 20 rails on it, and i wouldnt trust the scout rail at all... but as a plain folding, collapsible stock it is excellent.

These Stocks are garbage, I have seen them break under fairly easy use, I suggest the tapco stock, can be purchased in Canada for about 150-200 bucks, buy yer Mini, and then order a tapco stock, the ati stock made by ruger stinks

that tapco stock looks a lot better than the ATI

I'm pretty new to rifles. Is it an easy task to change over to the tapco stock? Or should a ham fist such as myself send it to a gunsmith?

Couldn't agree more, I'd love to find the review of the ATI, more incentive not to get the piece of crap

strange, i didnt have any issues with mine nor did the other people i know that had them (a couple bought them after using mine). its also a factory option by Ruger.

then again, i never lost sight of the fact that it is just a $100 plastic stock made by a budget manufacturer, and didnt go trying to break doors down with it or stake my life on it. i saw/felt nothing in the Tapco stock that elevated it to some higher standard - i would expect no more from it.
besides, the Tapco is not a folding stock so you are comparing apples to oranges.

I have the ATI folding stock on my mini 30 and I'm very happy with mine,I didn't like how bulky the forend is on the tapco stock.I think the ATI stock looks alot better.
