its been almost a year since i ordered it but i finally have it in hand, my ranch rifle in .223 ( not shipping stamped in 5.56 to make the fraidy cat haters thik its cuddly and fuzzy i guess) any how i have it and cant wait to take coyotes at the farm. just had to share my happiness with everyone

1 year wait on a Mini-14? Who the heck did you order it from? I've seen it in wood/blued, syn/stainless and target in stock all the time around here.

Have fun, they are fun little guns and great coyote rifles within an respectable range.

ordered it from sports action in 0ttawa. 200yards max ill shoot with out a bolt action, if i want to reach out ill use the enfield
