Mini 14's with Factory Folding Stock

I want to grab a nice one somewhere, what are these guys going for now days, pricey I know.

1100-1400$ range? Is that somewhere in the ballpark.

Do the blued models command more than the stainless? I want a blued one, spaghetti barrels aside, the old school factory folding models are just bad ass. I need one.

For an authentic mini 14 factory folder you might be looking at closer to 2k, if you can find one, and it will probably be stateside which would incur headaches and more fees to get it this side of the border. They are fairly rare as far as I'm informed and highly coveted. If you do find one do your homework to make sure it's not a knockoff.

I purchase one recently on CGN, stainless early series with factory stainless folding stock, for $1,200.00 plus shipping.
Love the gun and the whole package. They do come up on CGN once in a blue moon, and you need to grab it up fast.

The Holy Grail is the GB model with folding stock.

I haven't priced them in a while, but last time I looked, a Mini-14F model (ones that came with the folders straight from the factory, and have the side mounted swivel) was going for around $1200, and the stocks themselves were going between $500-600. I lucked into my factory folding stock for $300 back in '09, but haven't seen that low of a price in a while.

LOL - how things have changed, in 1988 I was offered my choice from about a dozen, stainless genuine GB folders w/3x30 rounders (police returns) for $700. I bought an AK (under folder) and 6x30 round mags for less.

I saw a blued one go recently for $900, and looked at a stainless one last month for $1100.
