Mini 30 450/458 conversion.......possible?

Wasn't quite sure where to post this, but seeing as the 450BM and 458 are B&G rounds, I figured I'd ask here

The chances of the XCR being chambered in either are about as likely as getting an aftermarket barrel in the next decade, so I decided to look at the mini's.

What, in your opinion, would be the possibility of having a mini re-barreled to the big bores? I think the B&G rifle could make big headway into the hunting end of things if such a rifle was available from the factory, but alas, it looks like the custom route is the only way to go.

Any thoughts? Anybody want to make me up one?

I want to see a .458 SOCOM XCR pistol so badly it hurts.

I had similar thoughts at 1 time, did lots of searching blah, blah,blah..... seems that there is only "1" (458 SOCOM) made by tony at tromix.

That being said I also have been thinking that the Benelli MR1 may be a much more suitable platform to build off of (when they get here), since the R-1 Action can handle the forces of magnums and you may not have to touch the gas system.

One other thing... what about a 358/458 SOCOM????
