mini 30 good day at the range

found a great load for my mini 30. these were shot on two different days at the range. the smaller group was the first 3 shots from a cold barrel.
100meters off the bags 3-9 bushnell.

should be good for deer season with this one..

100 meters 3-9 japanese bushnell. i did a trigger polish job and added buffers other than that she is stock.

Nice groups. I've always wanted a mini 30 but thought that they didn't have the best accuracy. But it goes to show you that if you know what your doing you can make it shoot well. Such as a trigger job and buffers (which i assume does a type of bedding for it?)

That is a great load for deer and other things. Good shooting at 100 yards with any deer gun.

well i got to try the H4198 load. 1.5 " groups are ok for the first try. i think i'll seat out to maximum for the magazine and try again

Is there good store bought ammo for the 7.62x39 that would be good for deer?
All i seem to be able to find is the 127gr ammo.
