mini-30 mag question

Hi I just scored a 1989 Mini-30. It has a mini-14 magazine yet is said to function reliably. Mag fits fine. Are these mags generally considered interchangeable or can a 14 or 30 owner comment on whether the follower in this mag has been changed? Have a soft spot for this one as I was pretty seriously considering buying one exactly then when I was a bit younger!

I've tried several Mini 14's and Mini 30's over the years and have used either mags in both with no issues. Would be nice to have one now, but sadly our left wing socialist govt has banned them.
