Mini BP cannons

I am interested in buying a small desktop size blackpowder cannon. What is the legal status of these? Anyone know where I can get one assuming they are legal? I would be looking for one that could fire bird\buck shot as well as pretty much anything that will fit in the barrel.

S.I.R., and Wholesale both sell them. As for legality, I don't think there is anything to register. It is an antique? Sorry but that's all i can say.

I think you could reasonably call it a signalling device which is exempt from registration under cc84 3 unless I am mistaken

The only reason I ask is the whole 500 FPS BS. I wanna use it to launch lead shot so I am not sure.
