Mini-master

Kodiak's initial order of sold out before it landed and the second went almost as quick.

I foolishly sold my first NAA Earl on the EE and it took me 6 months of scrounging to get another one when I realized what I had done.

They say 200 is the minimum order? I would tell them to send 500 over a year if they'll give me dealership rights to Canada

Kodiaks orders were 50 at a time from what I recall.

A lot of interest in this thread which I find funny. Tried to sell my Earl a couple weeks ago and ended up trading it after it was up for two weeks due to extreme lack of interest.

I think the unique rare type of revolver people will want it. To cover the minimum order should be fairly easy to do. At $399 22lr/22mag is a fair price, so I am in for 2. If Wanstalls is the distributor they should have some dealers interested in the Sidewinder too. It is excellent we finally have an answer so it is now up to Canadian Gun Nutz members to buy one or two.

Well they gave us the go ahead on a Canadian run of the Sidewinder if we were interested. Unfortunately they want a minimum of 200 units, in 22lr/22mag combined. I don't think the market will bare that kind of volume. Pricing looks like $399 landed in Canada...

Thoughts..

With 21,000+ views and 186 post, yeah there is interest. Do it for Canada! Do it for us. We deserve to have the choice and you deserve to take the money out of my wallet.:dancingbanana::cheers:

Well North American Arms is now in production. Here is their September News release on the Sidewinder. Pictures to follow later this week. Excitement has turned into reality for this new revolver coming to Canada.

OK, here’s what I know (or at least what I’ve been told).

The production-grade knurled cylinder release pins are expected early this week. Not having them is what’s precluded us from presenting pictures of a completed piece. I will advise you later this week when/where to find these photos.

Otherwise, the first twenty pieces are finished. I believe Jessica will charge (some) credit cards on Thursday and we will ship these pieces next Mon. or Tues. (10/11). We will be spending the next week going over these pieces to assure ourselves – and you – that they work flawlessly and meet/exceed your expectations. Notwithstanding these efforts, we’re prepared for “glitches” and fully expect you’ll tell us – and the rest of the word – when you find one. We’ll repair and return them promptly. Early Bird Sidewinders come with a 30-day money-back guarantee.

In the meantime, we’ve made some minor tweaks to our investment casting tool and hope to receive the next batch of frames in a week or so. Assuming all goes well, we will complete another one or two batches of Sidewinders before the end of September and slowly ramp-up to greater production. I expect that we will complete deliveries of all Early Bird pieces before the end of October.

Yeah Forwardthinker when I went to the naa site and saw the news, someone had to let the group know the update info now. Like babyseal said naa is really good at keeping the customer up to date. Maybe Wanstalls will come in the next week or so with order info for the eager group here. :dancingbanana::runaway::dancingbanana:

Long Rifle. Fixed Sights. Can't decide on grips... but damn I want one of these now <sigh>
I'm on a .22lr binge at the moment.

WOW, that's great! Excellent pictures. The wood grips look really sharp. Great finish. I love the lines on this gun. The only thing left to do is, where do I line up to buy this puppy? :HFU:
