I bought 3 boxes of Aguila 12G 1-3/4" 7-1/2 shot minis with the intention of using them for low noise bush road chicken whacking. I assumed they wouldn't cycle properly from my short barrel grizzly pump shotgun and was right. They jam up when cycling. No big deal, I'll just single shot them.
Then it dawned on me that I couldn't legally use them anyway with that pump guns configuration for road grouse because of the 3 round regulation. I confirmed with fish & wildlife I would have to lengthen the plug in the tube to only hold two minis and I didn't want to do that, so much for the mini idea in the pump gun.
Shot a dozen or so chickens with them using a single shot Cooey and they slayed them just fine, but I didn't like the long barrel for a truck shotgun and just went back to target loads in the pump gun.
Family and friends kids shot the rest off for me and they liked the low recoil.
