Yeah, I just grabbed one 20rnd box of both (slugs and 00-buck)

I intend to shoot them out of my Canuck Defender, but just bought them just cause..... seems like a cool idea.

I tested some Nobel brand minis load with OO Buck. 6 pellets, instead of 8 or 9. They are 1390 fps out of a 24" barrel. Pretty impressive.

I have not run any of these through any of my pumps to see of they feed and eject ok.

Have fired a few at the range and are quite the fun/attention getter. Was using an 870 and quite a few fail to feed unless you really slammed the action every time. IMO they wouldn't be great for hunting , and work best in single/double type guns.

is the defender a pump? If so, they probably will not feed

As stated, they function flawlessly through the KSG. It is as if the gun were designed with 24 of those mini-shells in mind....

I did nor realize ....but it seems Challenger now makes minis as well ....

This is a spot by my wife's Grandpa's farm, by Hudsons Bay. A friend of his shot three there and told him there was a pile more in the woodlot there. It is an RM woodlot and her Grandpa is a councilor, so he gave me permission to go check it out.

where I'm at, they are 1/2 again more money than standard slugs and buckshot, so why bother
