mini SXS rifle build

This thing is freaking cool. Well done
Thanks man

I hope to get it out tomorrow to shoot 100 rounds through it. I hope I can get 50 in each barrel without a single failure to fire. I'm also going to try some 710fps 22 shorts I have her too. And see how far they are off from the other ammo

I plan on taking it grouse and rabbit hunting next fall.

tonight i ended up in the shop shooting this rifle, i put 190 rounds though it and not a single failure to fire or any other issue.

i mounted the rifle in a vice and fired 10 shots at paper measured 33' away (10m). in the fist pic you can see each barrel single shot, next pics you can see it after 10 shots. this test was done using the 1080 fps 29gr ammo. the 710fps fired just as well and basically to the same point of aim at 33'

I'm really excited how this rifle turned out, its a fun rifle to shoot,
its heavy for how small it is but it balances really well, it feels like a rifle in your hand for sure but carries nice.

I'm not sure if it has been mentioned before but this rifle is a "take down" rifle, the barrels come off making it 2 pieces 18 3/8" and 14 1/8" long so it can easily be packed away. there are 2 thumb screws on the bottom of the receiver going into the barrel using a 1/4-20 thread

I shot this over the shooting chrony today, I had thought the right barrel was going to be faster, it just feels like it has more kick or noise or something, I know the main spring is quite a bit stiffer on the right so it may be in my head because of that.

But after shooting it over the chronograph both barrels shoot the same.

20 shots (10 from each barrel) there was no difference in barrel speeds but it did range from lowest 1125 to highest 1160 fps. The rest were randomly in-between those numbers. The box says 1080fps
