Okay gentlemen,

I am curious as to the specifics of IPSC rules.

Specifically: Does IPSC mandate minimum 9mm diameter bullet?

In context: If a cartridge is chosen which can meet "Minor" power factor rules, but is below 9mm/.38, can it be used?
Remember, 9mm loaded to Major specs will have same felt recoil as .45 ACP ( disregarding compensator efficiency ), proven with very simple conservation of momentum laws.

I am asking this because I am curious as to whether I can shoot my TT33 in IPSC competition ( STOP LAUGHING ) with some warm reloads.
I think I can meet Minor rules.

I hope I didn't just start the trolliest thread on CGN, this isn't my intention.

Yes it has to be 9mm or great diameter.

Also 9mm major and .45 major will only have the same felt recoil if you have the same bullet weight. Simple kinetic energy equation. And since 147gr .45 bullets are impossible to buy (i suppose you could make some if you cast) it would be inaccurate to say they will have the same felt recoil.
