Minimum eye relief for a 375 Ruger

I was just kind of busting you balls. It depends on the weight of the rifle, style of stock, muzzle break, etc. I suppose. I don't have much experience with heavy recoiling calibers but I would imagine you'd want no less than three inches and at least four would be preferable. Good luck!

4" is plenty if the scope is mounted properly, and you don't have the habit of creeping forward on the stock when you get excited. I have no issues with 3-1/2" on my unbraked 300RUM rifles.

Eye relief is a bit of a shell game. While some scopes have very specific eye relief, others have a considerable amount of non-critical eye relief so even if only rated at 3.5"....the non-critical eye relief may be 3-4" or more. With that said, I'd look for something in the 3.5 inch range on a bigbore. I'd prefer a rubber leading edge on the eye piece as well...lol
