Minimun trim length .223

What is the minimum case length that is safe to use for .223? I trimmed a bunch of cases without a a gauge and sadly when I finally measured they are all around 1.72 but some as short as 1.71 . Are these now garbage? Could I seat the bullet safely with less depth or will not enough bullet be seated? Thanks in advance

The trim-to length is 1.750". The neck should be .203" long. Your necks will be too short.
