im always amazed why people feel the need to 'mount' the critter in a ridem position. that or place the rifle across the rack!

Not as tacky as the dudes that figure they need to wander a half days march (or as far back as they can get and still be able to sorta hold the antlers) behind the deer and pose as if they are holding it up from way back there, to make the deer look bigger.

That's a badass buck in anyone's books, I figure.

My thoughts as well. At least you get a decent representation of antler size (unlike the hold-them-and-step-back approach)
